.3MX Quality, Microstation CE Update 7 to LumenRT Update 4

New to reality modeling, I have been working through the process of using ContextCapture to create reality meshes as backdrops for conceptual roadway designs. I would like to be able to use these meshes in LumenRT, but find that the quality is severely degraded when exporting from Microstation to LumenRT. It is not simply the resolution of the material on the mesh, but even the polygons appear to be simplified to the point that a tree no longer resembles a tree, but looks like a crude pyramid.

I see that in the reality mesh attachment dialogue, in Microstation, there is a setting for "export resolution." I have reduced this number and increased this number and have found any impact it may have on the export quality to LumenRT to be insignificant.

Image on the left is the .3MX in Microstation and the image on the right is the exported .3MX in LumenRT. I have tried .3SM and achieved slightly better results, but with major flickering and crashing. I have also tried importing the .3SM in LumenRT directly, but the scale is off (I see there may be a fix for this in a later release, but unfortunately I do not have access to the Bentley fulfillment center.)

So, if I need to use .3MX, how can I increase the quality of the mesh in LumenRT?
