Can anyone please help?
I have a 3D model with a cut plan saved as a view, which is inserted into 2D drawing. I do not wish to access the original files (inserted into the 3D model as reference files) to modify them as I cannot guarantee they will not be modified by others - in other words the display alteration has to be made in the resulting file.
The cut plan has some areas represented with meshed surfaces and I need to turn off the display of the mesh facets but not the outline of the mesh.
I found the following command:
Facet Modify Hideedges
In this article:
https://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/w/microstation__wiki/25214/how-to-hide-mesh-triangles-so-only-outline-in-displayed
However it does not seem to work on the meshes contained in the reference files - I assume this only works for elements modeled in the current file, not in reference files.
Thanks in advance for any useful suggestions.
This isn't really a visualisation topic so might be better in the Microstation forum. You will get more help if you give the version of Microstation, and if you can a file that demonstrates the problem so people don't have to re-create it on order to help.
