I was hoping to be able to use a display style on a dynamic view, however when the view is cached part of the display style disappears [in this case the shading]. I have added certain display rules to the style shown in the example image but this does not alter the cached display. Am I missing something or is this an issue. I am using Version 10.0.17134 Build 17134
The Cached mode will show the True Hidden Lines ( i.e. Hidden Line Display ) . It will therefore not show any shading, even though you have set it in the Display style
Other display settings like color, should be seen as set in the display Style

Thanks Nilesh, i was hoping to retain the display style when cached as while i can print rasterised from the un-cached file and get the result i see, i need to leave drawing in a cached state for document control to convert them to DWG etc as its not really feasible to do a two stage process when we have so many drawings but its good to know microstation is doing as expected.
