Parametric solids created in CE will not display assigned materials if opened in v8i.
Is this WAD?
The red walls are Parameteric solids, the slab to the right is a plain Slab.
In CE all walls are displayed with the correct material.

Extended elements arent rendered as assigned materials arent read.
If you drop them they should render correctly but you would lose the parametric properties of the elements.
Ok. So parametric elements can not be used in a mixed environment, even if it´s just for viewing. It would be great though, if v8i could display them correctly even if they cannot be edited.
