Hello,
I'm creating a LiveCube to send to a client, there are several different options that I've put on separate layers. In LumenRT, I can go in to the menu and turn the layers on and off to display the various options but I can't seem to do that in the LiveCube. In fact, I can't even get the menu to pop up in the LiveCube. I know the LiveCube is a stripped down, portable version of LumenRT but it seems like I should still be able to see the menu and turn layers on and off. I've tried Tab and Esc, is there another shortcut key that I'm missing?
Thanks!
Jim
Hello Jim,
It is not possible to turn on/off layers in Published live-cube.
As it was made that way it can easily share with the user without having the actual software in their end.
You can't edit anything inside published Live-cube.
Workaround:
You can make video showing different layer off and on? inside the main .lrt file.
And share with user.
Thanks.

Thats a pitty. Simple things like this, and also things like using cut plains + do simple measuring you can even do within a 3D PDF.
Hi Ankur,
I tried creating the animation showing the stages of construction in my main LRT file and then exporting the LiveCube but the animation didn't show anything changing. I assume that has to do with not being able to turn levels on and off in the LiveCube.
I agree with helgeh, it would be nice to have a few simple features, even in the LiveCube.
Thanks for the response!
Thank you for the response.
It would be great if you can file the Service request for the same.
We will try to see what else we can do for the user request.
