Hallo Everyone,
The drop linestyle tool does not work in Connect Edition for 3D-Linestyles. Actual we use Update 11. This is especially annoying, because export a 3D-Linestyle to DWG doesn´t work very well. Sometimes it is dropped. Sometimes not. In v8i we dropped 3D-linestyles before export.
In MicroStation V8i, there was never any problems with drop linestyles in 3D.
When will this be corrected?

this issue was discussed and reported quite long time ago (3/4 year ago at least), see for example this and this discussion. As far as I know it was not resolved in Update 12 and I do not recall any information when it's planned to be fixed.

This is a function, which is important an should be fixed immediately. Well, the command is also in the ribbon. But it´s not working. Please check, if this is already a reported defect and if it´s on the Bug-Fixing agenda of Bentley.
Are you an employee from Bentley? Well, we take time, to report some bugs, to help connect edition get rid of things, that does not work. I hope you unterstand that. So we are surprised that this is not perceived positively.

In one from linked discussions I think defect number was mentioned, so you should be able to ask Bentley what is the status of it.

No. Bentley people have (usually, but it's configured manually I guess) "Colleague" ribbon visible at their names.
The ability to drop linestyles in CONNECT Edition (Defect 895123) has been addressed and should be available in the next release MicroStation CONNECT Update 13.

Sorry Jan, didn´t know what that Bentley Logo with MVP in the footer of your Mail means. But it means superstar :-)
In fact 2d line styles also don't drop. So here's hoping that U13 will adressed this in 2d and 3d lines styles.
