Can someone shed some light on why I am experiencing what I would call "glare" on all my elements? I'm new to Luxology and there are way too many settings that I have no idea about
All steel elements should be dark grey but the come out glaringly white
The problem could stem from a variety of different places, such as material, lighting, environmetal, and render settings/adjustments.
I suggest you attach a sample dgn file to help diagnose the problem.
Regards,Ron
I have tinkered around some more with Specular settings and the effect was immediate in my rendered view but as soon as I started Luxology rendering the result was pretty much the same. I have added the model in the hope that someone can point me in the right direction. I've tweaked so many settings that I've lost the plot.3D-Building.dgn

I bought (and studied) Rendering with Jerry Flynn for Microstation V8 and XM ten years ago. A lot of pain and a lot of gain but a lot has changed since then. And, gee thanks bra. Love the water and the pretty pink BMW you made there but helpful this post isn't
