&lt;p&gt;FBX will be good option.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;FBX embed texture and when you import FBX into MicroStation it will create fbm texture folder at same location as FBX , so it will be easy to find texture maps.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;you can open Material editor from Visualization &amp;gt; Home &amp;gt; Materials &amp;gt; Material editor.&lt;/p&gt;
