I have set up a camera and target, which both follow an actor path along a road, using the tools in the Visualization workflow of OpenRoads Designer. In the animation producer, I have adjusted the speed of both, as the speed is not constant and the target needs to be ahead of the camera. When I try to record this, the first rendered frame is red and all consecutive frames are white. This also happens in the Animation preview. After deleting the target, rendering is as it should be (as is the Animation preview).
Has anyone experienced the same issue? Who knows why a target causes this behaviour en what can be done about it?
Or is there another workflow?
Kind regards,
Merlijn
I have found the solution: simply turn off "Animated elements" in the Animation settings. This can be done via the Animation producer.

Is it possible to share the file?
Turning off the Animated Elements, will not show any elements which are Animated.. it could be that one of these elements is occluding the camera which shows red & white images

Hi Nilesh, I have confirmed it was indeed the target element, as removing the target "solved" the problem as well.
Hi Merlijn,
You were probably inside the target with the camera you should as a rule turn off constructions in the camera view when rendering animation unless you want to see the target.
I have not seen this but can make a guess at how it could have happened if you placed and camera to be animated along a path and then preview the animation you see that the camera moves but in reality the animator moves it and the element is really at frame zero. If you were to have placed the camera and the preview was not at zero and then placed the target the distance between the camera and target could have been much shorter than you intended so that the first frame could have been inside the target and second frame could have moved from the center of the target but still inside the target and be white.
Cheers,
Jerry
