Just changed to Windows 10 platform and about to get Microstation V8i Series 4 as I was told my existing Series 3 would not work on Windows 10.
To my surprise I found it appears to be working (opened files and tried a few basic functions, all OK).
Can anyone advise, if using Series 3 on Windows 10 and if they found any problem?
I can confirm that for me at least, V8i SS3 has worked without a problem on Window 10 for many years now.
I've seen the notifications about the SELECTserver being switched off in 2020 but I really don't know what that means with regard to my MicroStation V8i SS3 license. Does it mean that support will cease but the software will continue to run? Surely MicroStation SS3 will continue to run beyond that time? Is this a correct interpretation?

I recommend to ask in licensing forum. I do not recall such information / explanation, but maybe it was discussed already.
