We received our Htc Vive today and have created a live cube.
Installed all the software for vive and steam. All good
Now question time
Any help with the challenges would be greatly appreciated
Ian
I haven't used the Vive, but the Oculus Rift S starts up in the device when launching the exe exported "live cube" (without Steam). The move controls should already be mapped by holding the controller thumb joystick controller in a direction when "fly" mode is enabled (so check modes.. I think space switches them maybe)... it appeared to be a long hold time before it started moving. I remember having a similar thought at first. Not sure about the tick boxes... maybe prior to export from LumenRT, check those on. Hopefully some of this helps!

Hey Shawn, interesting that you mention the fly mode , we have that of course so will check that one out, i did go back to the original Lumenrt file and had a look at some settings i did note there was a BIM boxed unticked, so will have to change that and create a new live cube and see if this works
will need to check the fly mode to see if that resolves the issue
thanks for your input
You can refer to the help for the mapped controls. But can reference the image below as well:
I know the Vive Cosmos was just released if you are using that headset and new controllers those arent completely mapped. Will have to check with development if the next update will be updated to make use of the new controlllers.
A question I ran into, were you able to get any measuring tools inside the live cube? I assumed the live cube has limitations over the full software interface, however I thought I'd ask in case I missed something.
