I have a scene with a mapped ground layer.
For some reason, the sun reflects off this surface - even though it has no reflective or specular material attributes.
Is there any way I can switch the sun's visibility off (while retaining its presence for lighting and shadows)? Are there other material attributes I need to adjust?
I don't recall this happening in previous versions of LumenRT.
Is this video visible in my post? I click on it and it disappears.
Trying again to "Insert video" from the post editor - Bentley, please fix this if it's a bug in your Bentley Communiites posting editor.
I’ve had better results using .mp4 format rather than .wmv for “Insert video”.
Thanks Ron, much appreciated!
It would be useful if your gold nugget of information could be more prominently communicated by Bentley. I recall something about recommended formats many years ago by Phil Chouinard and spent half an hour trying to find it.
Here goes my attempt at inserting the .mp4;
Just an hypothesis - This might be a sun flare, you may check the camera settings, sun flare, to see if artifact respond to this setting
