CONNECT U13 - Material Attachments in Reference Not Displaying

Hello,

I've got a material attached to a solid face in my dgn file.
When I reference that into another file I don't see any of the materials.
I know this can work, because I have another file that has some materials attached and they display fine.
What am I missing?
