It seems Luxology is no longer available as a rendering option with the latest CE Update 16. The announcement was made in the general Microstation Forum, but not here in the Visualization Forum, which I would have thought should be the case.
This post is just to warn users that their current projects which rely on Luxology rendering would be forced to use Path Tracing/ Ray Tracing - this could be a problem if you have imminent deadlines which rely on render settings already established in CE15 and earlier. Fortunately, v8i SS10 is still available to perform these renders if you have it installed.
I've not had time to test the Vue renderer - and it may turn out to be an improvement - but just thought people subscribed to this forum should be informed.

Maybe you can find some free hdri maps 8k or 16k resolution like here HDRI: Venice Sunset | HDRI Haven ?
i made quick test ( basic ship, basic settings with water pond material )
luxology 1m34s
luxology 1m24s
vue... 24s i try but only small, when i change to 8k Msnt crash, second time my computer crash....
but how can i see HDRI to rotate it ? Where is reflection ?
other software 7 sec render ( this is i expect from LumenRT or Vue - one click change hundreds of real skies and visual rotate and check -
so you can change mood in second )
some quick Lumen RT shots 1 sec ;) How to setup 2 point cam ?
About Vue..if we change render engine maybe we need whole render interface from vue? Not this luxology style but vue style with vue materials editior etc to have full potential?
I'd support this - it would help clarify that the "Luxology" interface no longer renders the way it used to render. Similar to how the pre-Luxology experience (Raytrace directly in viewport) was quite different to the Luxology interface. A fresh VUE render interface and materials editor would give a sense of progress rather than iteration.

This also makes sense since we are expected to use Vue to create custom ecosystems, environments, NPR setting, etc...
Why not have MicroStation & Vue share one familiar interface across both software packages instead of having different interfaces for related activities. This would make it much easier to work in either software.
