Hi,
I do something obviously wrong, but I am not able to find what is it ;-)
When I use VUE Raytracing, an image is generated. When I switched the render to Path Tracing, black image is generated always.
As an example, I tried Living_Room dataset:
Raytracing produces this image (materials are not correct, because not correct workspace with all relevant materials was used):
When switched to Path Tracing with the same settings, this is produced:
I am not sure whether it's relevant, but for some reason, even when Interior Best is selected, the message tells "with Exterior Final".
Used configuration (all updates and drivers are at the latest versions):
With regards,
Jan
I'd like to inform all reader the problem was solved thanks help from Jerry Flynn.
The problem is caused by an incompatibility between VUE render and AMD driver (used the latest Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.6.2) and was solved by replacing of installed sspt_mqbvh.ptk kernel file by another version.
Another solution can be, probably (because not tested), to downgrade AMD driver to some working one.

Following Defect has been logged
Defect 669288 - VUE Rendering with Path Tracing option, produces black output
It seems that the bug is fixed in Update 16.1.
Trying to render the same model in CE U16.1, correct output and not black image is produced.
