Hi there,
I have been producing LumenRT content, live cubes and screen shots. I've managed to created 'inside looking out' 360 images and embed them in webpages. However, is there a way to create 'outside looking in' 360 images. I would like to have a model that I can rotate around from the outside, while it is centered in the view window?
Cheers,
Myles.
Hello Myles,
Can you please share some example and screen capture for better understanding ?
What exactly you are looking for.
Thanks.

Hi Ankur,
Thanks for replying.
I've found a program that does what I'm looking for. I was wondering if there was anything nativley in microstation / lumenrt which could export the same sort of thing...
WebRotate 360 Product View Example | 3D Car Visualization by Zooma
I've managed to save out a bunch of saved views in 20 degree increments around a model and 20 degree increments in elevation to create a half sphere series of images. These are then brought into the above program and a user navigable model is created.
This was a test case, in the future 5 degree incremental images would provide a far smoother effect. Unfotunately I cant share the model I've created right now.
Did you try our Web360 Tool ?
here is the video link for the tool may be this will help you more

Thanks for your reply.
I have indeed watch that video, and have created a user interactive youtube 360 video, for a couple of our models.

The view point of these is from an observer looking out. I was hoping to have an observer looking in. So the model would be statc in the center of the view, with the user then able to rotate around the outside, with the focal point directed at the center of the model. I haven't been able to achieve this through lumenrt or microstation.
Thanks for your time.
