Hi There,
I've come across an odd issue exporting from mircostation connect to lumenRT.
I also have a version of v8i [Select series 10] installed on my machine, this version of MS has no problems exporting the same files. [But as SS10 doesn't export paths / saved views it's not ideal to use]
Anyway. Exporting from MS Connect [update 16 version 10.16.00.80] I'm confronted with an error message once LumenRT starts to open, it gets to between 0 and 4 seconds of elapsed time, then :-
"Sorry, Failed to load Data. file seems corrupted. The Application will close.
Please contact the support for further informaiton."
I click ok to dismiss this warning then immediatley after another message pops up:-
"Load of C:\Program Files\Bentley LumenRT CONNECT Edition - Update 14\LumenRTStartupScene.Isc failed."
I've doscovered the location \Documents\Bentley\Bentley LumenRT CONNECT Edition [where my LumenRT shortcut is] there are also files corresponding to the scenes I have in LumenRT. If I try to export a scene from Microstation and it doesn't have a corresponding file at this location, LumenRT fails and gives me the above messages. If I manually create a file in this place with the same file name as the .dgn file name, along with a sub folder of 'Draft' and a sub-sub folder of 'source' the export from MS Connect completes without a problem.
Can you share your files for testing. My understanding is the exporters used are different between V8i and CONNECT which may be part of the issue.
You can upload your files too:

Hi. Did anyone find a solution to this issue?
We are also experiencing this issue. Did you find a fix?
I found a work around, not ideal but worked on my machine...
We are experiencing the same problem on 5 machines. Any fixes other than the workaround? Our problem is using the LumenRT export icon within OpenRoads Designer 2021 Rel 2.
We were having this problem and after a chat with someone from Bentley support we found the issue was our "Documents" folder is pathed to our network instead of stored on the local drive. LumenRT isn't able to access the folder this way. The fix for us was to path to a folder on the C: drive. I chose to path it to C:\Bentley LumenRT CONNECT Edition, but you could put it anywhere you want.
The reg file you will need to edit to this location is C:\ProgramData\e-onsoftware\LumenRT 2016.reg
Line 17 whish says DocumenPath: should be pathed to the folder on the local drive.
Mine looks like this. DocumentPath:C:\Bentley LumenRT CONNECT Edition
