Hallo,
while testing Vue on our Computers we recognized a strange behaviour. MiroStation crashes without any message or hint. It just desappears in a second while rendering with the Path-Tracer VUE.
What can we do?
Kind regards
Gerd
Hi,
This could be a problem with intel graphics drivers. Which version of Microstation are you using ? If you have intel integrated graphics can you update its drivers.
Thanks
Paul
HI Gerd,
as Paul wrote, to know MicroStation version (is it U16.0 or current U16.1?) and the used HW configuration (Interl, AMD, Nvidia) is important.
I experienced crashes in U15 and U16 with some data, plus all other models ended with no crash, but black result. Now it works fine in U16.1, but I have no Intel graphics in my PC (where driver update may be required).

Jan

Hi Jan,
we have some Deadline-Projects at the moment. We will give Feedback next week. On this Computer there is Nvidia GTX 1080Ti and some kind of onboard Intel-graphic-Card, but this onboard-Card should not be part of the Render-Process.
Thanks Gerd
Hi Gerd,
the onboard card will be part of the process the render engine will use all the openCL resources it can find. You can disable this in your device manager for your OS.
Regards
Hi Paul,
we updated the PC. In the device manager of this computer there is no integrated graphics from intel listed. Don´t know how this can be deactivated then.
Rendering the file, nothing changed. MicroStation closes without any information shown on the screen. .
