Hi Everyone
It has been while since I have done any rendered images so imagine my surprise when I found Luxology is out and Vue is in! As usual I have a deadline and I am struggling to use the new engine - I was hoping some of you clever folks could help me get over the line in time!
I have managed to get an image that looks acceptable, but I cannot save it (the button appears dimmed) and the previous renders history is also not populated. I can't help but feel these 2 things are related?
Also, the render quality seems to come up as Exterior Final even though I have used Exterior good - not sure what that is about either. The rendering doesn't take long, about 10-12 minutes for this image, but I am finding it hangs (or takes an awfully long time to process) when changing settings.
Can anyone help me at least save this image?
Thanks
-W
Hi Wendy,
maybe this will fix your problem:
communities.bentley.com/.../where-are-vue-historys-stored
Thanks Diego - turns out it was a ProjectWise issue - it works if I export the file out and that work flow is fine for this type of work (for now anyways).
Can you explain what the issue is with ProjectWise, I havent seen this problem before.
Paul
Hi Paul, we have not resolved this entirely as I have been working outside of PW in the meantime, but we think it is because the _USTNOUT variable points to an area without write access.
I have replicated the behavior by creating a a folder without read/write access, resulting in the save image being disabled.
Does ProjectWise manage the workspace being used? If so you will have to speak with your PW admin and edit the variable to point to a directory with the appropriate permissions.
