This has been highlighted in an older posting, not sure if a solution was found.I am trying to copy/re-create the same settings (in Connect Edition VUE) that Luxology (V8i) had under Ambient Occulsion. I really like this render setting.Comparing settings, it seems that to produce the monoclour/black and white image,only the Alpha channel was exported? In VUE it is greyed out, and I cannot untick Color&Aplha?What is the workaround please?thanks...
In the documentation we can read:
Output Channels: allows you to choose a rendering output. When enabled, the render engine will render a separate channel for the selected channels. When the render completes, you can use the save option from the render dialog and the selected channels will be saved to files.
I am curious. Your screenshot shows an ambient occlusion channel under Path Tracer. I only have this under Ray Tracer
Hi Duncan,Yes well spotted, I cannot find my screen shot as posted above, Looks like this, still workignon getting the render corrrect.
