It takes a very long time to stencil at a microstation, so is there any tip? Does it take a long time because the mash of the road is densely modeled at 0.5m intervals and exceeds 100MB? The work is not progressing due to the freezing of the program. Waiting for someone's help.
Use Powercivil v8i it has best tool to project linework to mesh/terrain. What kind of mesh you have?
When using the Stencil tool, all displayed elements are evaluated to determine where to apply the stenciled elements. If there are extra elements visible that you don't want stenciled you should hide them so they are not evaluated.
To improve the performance of the Stencil tool you should display only the target meshes and the elements being stenciled. The easiest way I have found to do this is to select only the target meshes and the elements to be stenciled and then from the Reset Pop-Up Menu choose Displayset Set. This will hide all other elements.
Now your stenciling should be more responsive.
To redisplay the hidden elements, choose Displayset Clear from the Reset Pop-Up Menu.

Thank you. Your advice was a good tip.
My problem seems that the stencil processing speed was slow due to the 0.5m interval of inroad roads and spline curves.
In the future, it may be worth splitting a project like that up into smaller segments.
