Microstation connect update 17.1 and vue to render a scene all text dissapears.

Hi Wim,

This seems to be a bug and I believe a TR was filed. As a workaround, if you drop the text it would render as shapes I know true type fonts would render if dropped I have done this before and you can extrude the shapes for 3D text as well.

Hi Wim,

Adding to Jerry's workaround...you should be able to select the text elements and specify a thickness in the element properties.Hopefully this will also make the text render too.

This way you won't need to drop the text and it will remain editable text.

I confirm Bug 656846 has been filed and remains open at this time.
