Microstation connect update 17.1 and vue to render a scene all text dissapears.

Question

When using Microstation connect update 17.1 and vue to render a scene all text dissapears. 
 Setting the 'ignore open elements and text' to 'Off' doesn't resolve the problem. 
 Are there any specific other settings I should check?

Hi Wim, 
 This seems to be a bug and I believe a TR was filed. As a workaround, if you drop the text it would render as shapes I know true type fonts would render if dropped I have done this before and you can extrude the shapes for 3D text as well.

Hi Wim, 
 Adding to Jerry's workaround...you should be able to select the text elements and specify a thickness in the element properties.Hopefully this will also make the text render too. 
 
 This way you won't need to drop the text and it will remain editable text.
