Hi,
I am currently running Microstation Connect Edition Update 16, 10.16.01.56 with its associated visualisation.
I do have a substantial amount of legacy .bimg files (previous luxology history files) that were created with a previous version of Microstation Luxology.
I can preview these files in Windows explorer, I presume through a Microstation plugin, but I cannot open these file in Microstation.
How do i convert these files to a common image format like tiff, png or jpg?
Any help appreciated,
Regards, Marcel Tossings
Hi Marcel,
You can use the Tone Map BIMG frame utility from the Animator. You can then have a preview and make tone mapping adjustments before saving. I also was able to copy the bimg files to a folder and rename them sequentially using Windows File Explorer and batch convert the entire folder. The problem is if some images require different tone mapping then the results could be hit or miss. You might get lucky and most could be decent. One at a time should be fine.
Cheers,
Jerry
