drape image - model rotate

Question

Is there any way to keep draped texture on model ? 
 I mean i want to rotate or move this lamp but draped texture is gone ( i mean still stand in place - i understand this ) 
 but maybe is there any way. Because all texture modes / mapping not working well in v8

Hi Martin, 
 You could try using Material Projections toolbox . 
 
 Attach/assign a material to the element 
 Attach the desired projection to the element with the Attach Projection tool 
 Adjust the position/scale/rotation of the projected material with the Edit Projection tool
