Good Afternoon,
I have created a 3d pdf to show what a plough dredge looks like. I would like to put our company logo in the top corner. I do not have the adobe software to edit pdf's - is it possible to embed a watermark image from microstation?
I will try to upload the pdf.
Regards,
Myles.
You can always create a sheet model with the drawing frame as you would like to have and then attach your model and set the reference to print as 3D. Then you have a drawing with a embedded 3D model.
MicroStation 08.11.09.829MicroStation Connect Update 11ProjectWise 08.11.11.590LumenRT Update 11
Like this attached example. ZIP contains both PDF and DGN.
Yes that would work - I didn't think about putting it in a sheet - I just 3d printed the model and didn't bother going that extra step. It was only an after thought of it would be nice to have our company logo embeded in the top corner within the pdf. I guess there is no way to do that within microstation.
I have created complete drawings printed to a pdf to a scale of [say] 1:25 on an A0 bit of paper and had a static profile, static plan, static section then a 3d view which is 3d printed - looks pretty fancy and gives folk who can't read techincal drawings the ability to see what a finished object looks like :) - especially if they are technically savvy enough to actually manipulate the 3d view within the pdf :)
Thankyou for the suggestion but not quite what I was after, good workaround though - bit academic now as I've already sent the pdf off - but any other suggestions will be good to know for the future...
Apart from embed a watermark image into pdf from microstation, is it feasible to finish this job by using third PDF editing software, like Foxit or something? I have checked several posts on watermark, but I am still confused.
