A procedural texture engine... that is nativley integrated in Modo... could it be that we get access via our Bentley interface...?

this is a paid for plug-in - not part of base modo. I have been playing around with it and it is very useful and i agree it would be lovely to see in MS. The bitmap2material is especially useful- you feed in an image and it will automatically output diffuse, specular,ao, bump maps and so on with options to seamlessly tile and randomise.
I understand that modo texture replicators will be in the next MS release (am I right Jerry?) and this also gives the randomisation of textures.
While on the subject of things that you can get for modo that would be useful in MS:

Yes the texture replicators will be in the next release of MicroStation (not SS3) and we are talking to Allegorithmic, if we do something with them my guess now is that it would be a plug-in that they would provide.
Cheers,
Jerry

Hi Jerry,
Do you know when we can suspect the next release of MicroStation?
Regards Louis
Whoohoo! Thanks Jerry. I've been using thier freeware MapZone texture tool for a while now, and the Substance procedurals look very useful.
