HI,
Could someone assist as to why the glow materials settings are not pushing back correctly to the luxology render?
I attach 2 images, the one on the left is the Effects Manager render and the one on te right is the luxology render using the updated render settings. It seems the glow materials under and on the balcony are completely off? Furthermore, the environment setting also feels way brichter than on the effects manager. Any help greatly appreciated.
Hi,
Are your brightness settings the same between the 2 images ? Try using brightness adaptation.
If you look at the glow materials in the material editor has the glow value changed from what it originally was ?
Regards
Paul
Hi Paul,
Yes the glow updated , but nevertheless it seems to be completely washed out by the other lights nad the environment in the luxology render.
Not so sure the settings are pushed correctly though, the environment is too bright; could the location of the HDR I am using be an issue?
Andrea
Do your tone mapping values match between the effects manager render and the luxology render ?
I assume you are using the effects manager light and environment setups.
I am using those, although sometimes it seems to push the settings to the original setting rather than the effects manager one? Currently I have tried rendering the image at 4000 resolution in FX manager and it crashes every time it gets to proecessing the glow material image.
Hi Andrea,
Check to see if the Environment value for the Indirect matches, also check solar if you have that off in Effects Manager make sure it gets turned off in Light Manager.
