From the documentation:

Supported platforms:

MicroStation V8i SELECTseries 3 Update 1 (or 2) v 08.11.09.357 (459)

Maxwell Studio / Maxwell Render v 3.0.1.0

These are the only versions the plug-in was certified on.

However, but only on your own risk, you may disable the built-in safety net and allow other sub-minor updates to be accepted by the plug-in (in your case, allow the *.747).

Simply define environment variable MS_MAXWELL_IGNORE_SUBMINOR_VERSION = 1 and off you go ;)

The outcome depends on sheer luck.
