There are plenty of space for improvement;, however, it is nice feeling that some materials became very good.
You could use a shadow catcher material for ground material
Make a new material > color nearly whiteGo to the Material Editor > expert tab and turn of the option Visible to EyeAttach the new material to the ground material (a shape)Use white for background color
Mark, thanks for the advice. The "shadow catcher" is in use. The background is actually 2 colour gradient.
The "general illumination" (indirect light) is set from Light Probe and HDR file. (if I am not mistaken "preview.hdr"). What I found that dirty shadows, that appears in front of the image can be reduced by rotating HDR image for about 15deg.
Things that I am still struggling about environment: settings for environment illumination, set in LUX. If the "lock" is active, than position of the slider represents the multiplier (by default x 1.0); but if the "lock" is unactive, than Mstn suppose to calculate general illumination.
What is interesting, if lock is active (multiplier = 1.0), value of the LUX = 4700 (about that number), and rendered image become over exposed. Then is "unlock" the lock, and set the value manually to LUX=4700, the rendered images are different, the second image even brighter (unnaturally).
Experimenting with value, I found that for my machine, settings for environment illumination = 300 LUX is more or less acceptable.
Though, there are still lots to learn
