    Original Article Date: Nov 7, 2005

    With thanks to Roland Cyr and Doug Watt for contributing these nifty little macros that opens Windows Explorer and takes you to the folder of your active design file. Roland did the one for MicroStation V8, while Doug contributed the macro for MicroStation V7. Thanks guys!
    2005-11-21 Updated to add a keyin. Thank you Rudi!

    MicroStation V8
    Download 267.zip and extract explorer1.mvba from the zip file.
    Place the mvba in the folder pointed to by MS_VBASEARCHDIRECTORIES
    Keyin vba load explorer1to load the project, or...
    Configure MS_VBAAUTOLOADPROJECTS to automatically load the mvba project upon startup.
    Keyin vba run [explorer1]explore.explorerfile to run the macro, or...
    Place the keyin on a function key or custom button for quick and easy access.

    Note: You can accomplish the same thing with this generic MicroStation keyin:
    $ % explorer /e, /select, $(_DGNFILE)
    Who woulda thought?

    MicroStation V7
    Download 267.zip and extract explorer1.bas from the zip file.
    Place the file in the folder pointed to by MS_MACRO
    Keyin macro explorer1 to run the macro, or....
    Place the keyin on a function key / custom button for quick and easy access.
