Quick and easy way to edit level names!
MicroStation V7 - Rather than changing level names via the
Level Names
dialog, try this!
Open the
Level Names
dialog
Do a
File > Save
and enter a name. You have just exported your exiting level names to an external text file with the extension of LVL. This file is also referred to as a
Level Structure
file
Open the LVL file with any text editor and change the names as you wish. Be sure to maintain the columns as they are.
Back in MicroStation, and still in the
Level Names
dialog, go
File > Open
and select the modified LVL file.
Ta-Da!
