Change the default colour of a
sheet
model
Being blinded by the white background on your V8 sheet models? If so, then change it by setting the configuration variable
MS_DEFAULTSHEETRGB
to some RGB value. For example,
MS_DEFAULTSHEETRGB =113,255,113
will set it to a lovely green.
Note: This variable is for the creation of the first sheet model. In other words, if your file already has a sheet model when you set the above variable, it will be ignored and any new sheet models that you create will have the same background colour as the existing sheet.
Josh Schifter
from Bentley also offers the following information: A design file has two background colours: One for the design models and one for sheet models. If the file already has a sheet model when you set this variable, it's ignored and new sheets will have the same background as the exiting sheet. (Thanks Josh!)
