Hide a single element by using a key-in
The following tip was inspired by several user posts on the BE Community pages. With thanks to Brenden Roche, Henk Ligtvoet, Ivo Blaauw, and others I may have overlooked. Tested on MicroStation V8i SS2.
To hide a single element, put this key-in script on a function key:
choose all;powerselector mode remove;%d;displayset set;choose none;powerselector mode new;choose element;point ab
Note that it requires you to have Displayset turned on for the view which you can enable via the View Attributes dialog. To re-display the hidden element, choose Displayset Clear from the right-click menu.
