Save As... Selection Sets and Fences

Ever want to perform a Save As from only a portion of your design file? Well now you can with MicroStation V8!

From the Save As dialog, select Options > Filter > Geometry and then choose either Everything, Fence, or Selection Set.

This option is available on all supported file types and is somewhat similar to the FF= keyin or AutoCAD's WBLOCK.

As a bonus, you can also can apply re-mapping to the new file!

With thanks to Mark Mates for sharing this tip on the V8 newsgroup.
