Slow response when creating and working with selection sets?

If MicroStation V8 XM Edition is slow to respond when working with selection sets, ensure that the Element Info dialog is closed.

When open, the property information for all selected elements will be populated in this dialog which may take some time when working with large volumes of complex data.

It's recommended to only open this dialog when needed.

With thanks to Brien Bastings for sharing this tidbit on the discussion groups.
