    Place a north arrow cell on a rotated view
     
    If you've ever tried to place a cell (such as a north arrow) on a rotated view, you'll have noticed that it's placed relative to the view rotation. To overcome this, use the keyin place cell absolute tmatrix as shown below. Note that the cell is placed using it's original orientation and scale. and therefore disregards your active scale setting. Wiith thanks to Rudi for reminding me of the ancient trick. :-)
