I have a situation.
My company builds large composite 3D models comprised of 80-100 different files. We have a reference structure that divides to whole project model into different discipline models, then ech discipline model into area models...
When we make sheets, we extract 2D graphics from the 3D models, and use those as the background graphics.
On a past project, one of our designers created about 50 sheets by referencing in the 3D model however. Now, we're trying to archive the project. Someone basically took the whole 3D model, and merged it all together into one file. For most of the sheets that didn't matter, but the one with the 3D model attached it has created a mess.
Basically, the guy is gong to have to go into each sheet and turn off all the new levels that showed up in his files when everything was merged.
Here's my question: Can he set up the level display he wants in one file, then save that into all his other files? Or is he going to have to do this in each and every sheet?
