He writes this about MicroStation V8 XM Edition....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When dealing with elements of the same relative priority, for example all being a value of 0, then the transparent elements will be drawn last. Take the clip below, all elements in the active and reference model are drawn at a priority of 0, but the reference element is transparent. This results in the shape being drawn last and obscuring the linework of the active model. While it&amp;#39;s common practise to change the update sequence order, it does not appear to resolve the display issue. Instead, simply set the reference model to a negative priority as shown. &lt;/td&gt;
