    Element Information by ID number

With many thanks to Bentley's Brien Bastings for sharing this tip in the discussion groups!

You can highlight an element by it's ID number by using this keyin: analyze element byid [id number]. When using this keyin two things will happen:
    1) The element will highlight, and
    2) The Element Information dialog opens.

Note, the element will un-highlight as soon as this dialog is closed.

Additional information: For all element types, the Element ID is a persistent value that is assigned when the element is first added to a model. It is unique across the entire Design File and is not re-used even after the element has been deleted.
