&lt;td align="left" colspan="2" valign="top"&gt;&lt;em&gt;Barry Bentley&lt;/em&gt; shared this tip on the discussion groups:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After upgrading files to V8, make sure the configuration variable &lt;em&gt;MS_DISALLOWFULLREFPATH&lt;/em&gt; is set to 1, and then execute these keyins:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;reference snap toggle *&lt;br /&gt;reference snap toggle *&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This toggles the snap for each reference twice, leaving it in the same condition that it started. But it also that also rewrites all of the reference attachments, and whenever a reference attachment is written with &lt;em&gt;MS_DISALLOWFULLREFPATH = 1&lt;/em&gt; , MicroStation saves it without the full path.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You can put that it in a command file and run it using the Batch Processor to do a bunch of files at once.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/td&gt;
