Background

Drop associative pattern tool does not work for multiple selection of elements in MicroStation v8i as it used to do in V8 2004.

Steps to Accomplish

We need to download the following VBA code:

And follow the following instructions:

1. Save the attachment to your ...\Workspace\standards\VBA folder;

2. Open your DGN file in MicroStation V8i;

3. Select all closed elements your want to drop its associate pattern;

4. Keyin VBA RUN [DropPatternBySelect]Main and press Enter.
