    Background

Launching MicroStation XM  gets an error stating that Hyper Threading is enabled and performance may be affected.

    Steps to Disable Hyper Threading

    1. Save any work and Restart computer.
    2. While your PC is rebooting, enter the BIOS setup screen. (You can do this by hitting either the ESC, F2 or Delete key in most of the cases).
    3. Locate the Hyper-Threading or Hyper threading control.
    4. Disable Hyper-Threading.
    5. Save Changes.
    6. Exit BIOS.

Windows will now start with Hyper-Threading disabled.

    Note:

Refer to manufacture for more information regarding Bios and/or other hardware configurations.
