Background

When hovering the mouse over an icon, tool or element, a little pop up box appears giving the tool/icon name (see image 1). Tool tips also can be used to see the path of a reference file by hovering mouse over name of reference in Reference dialog (see image 2)

Steps to Accomplish

1. In V8i Go to the menu Tools > Tool Boxes / In CONNECT Edition Go to the menu File > Settings > User > Tool Boxes
2. Turn on the option 'Show Tool Tips'
3. Click OK
