Problem Description

How can I prevent the file property "Date Modified" in Windows Explorer is not affected by printing a drawing with MicroStation?

Steps to Accomplish

As a prerequisite you have to switch OFF the following preferences in MicroStation -> Workspace -> Preferences … > Category: Operation :

Save Settings on Exit

Automatically Save Design Changes

Now you can go to MicroStation -> Workspace -> Configuration …-> and add the following variable:

Variable:          MS_PLT_SET_LAST_PRINTED_TIME

New value:      0

This variable prevents that the file property "Date Modified" in Windows Explorer is changed when you only print with MicroStation.
