This wiki will tell you how to make elements on some levels unselectable using Select By Attributes tool.
When we set Level Lock On, only the elements on active level are unselectable. Then can we make elements on some specified levels unselectable? The answer is YES.
If you want to back to normal status, you can set Mode to Inclusive, Location, Off in Select By Attributes dialog and then press Execute button.
[V8i C++]How can I disable locate by Levels
You can still use this useful feature in XM or V8i. When the AccuSnap is turned on, you needn't to click mouse button. You just need to move the mouse on the elements and find which is hilited. If the hilited element is not what your desired, just click the right mouse button to hilite another one. The behavior is same as V8.5.
I use Ms XM at the moment;
I have problem with selection a single element in the very "dense" area of the design;
In my previous V8
having selected wrong element it was possible
to change selection (select another one next to the previous) by clicking the right mouse button;
how can I turn on this useful feature in my XM?
