Background

The Color Maps TAB contains controls that are used to edit the color maps defined for the selected printer driver configuration file. You also can remove all existing color maps. The Color Maps tab appears in the Printer Driver Configuration dialog.

Steps to Accomplish

MicroStation -> File Printer-> the Print Dialog box opens -> File -> Select Bentley Driver -> select the Bentley driver printer.pltcfg (or hpgl2.pltcfg, pdf.pltcfg) -> open -> the print dialog box is open -> file -> Edit Printer Driver Configuration -> Color Maps TAB -> here is the place to adjust the Print Color.

Make a checkmark in “Define maps from design color to print symbology”. You can edit more than one color map at a time. Use <Ctrl-click> to select multiple non-contiguous color maps. Use <Shift-click> to select a range of color maps. Then click Edit….

Make a checkmark in "Define print color" -> Select Print Color -> make your changes -> ok -> ok.

After you have configured your Color Maps go to File -> save; File -> exit.

The Print Dialog box is now open go to File -> Reload printer Driver Configuration.
