Problem

How do you print a Rendered Dynamic View in Grayscale or Monochrome?

When MicroStation generates a Dynamic View the output view takes on the attributes of the original view. If the original view was set to any Rendered View, then the Print Dialog or Print Organizer sees the Dynamic View as a Rendered View and will not allow the Color setting to be changed from True Color.

Solution

Go to View Attributes in the originating view and set the Display Style to Wireframe (or any non-rendered view type) and the Print Dialog or Print Organizer will see the Dynamic View as a non-rendered view and give you the option to print it as Grayscale or Monochrome.
