Problem

When trying to create a PDF using the delivered pdf.plt and checking on the plot to 3D box the pdf is created but nothing is there.

Solution

The issue with the view is that the camera's focal distance is too large for Acrobat to handle. If a much smaller focal distance is chosen or the camera perspective is simply turned off (with a focal distance that long, the view is effectively parallel anyway) the user should be good to go.
