Problem

Is there a way to limit the Expression names available in the dropdown list? I've added some options in a dgnlib but I didn't know if I could remove the delivered ones.

Solution

Unfortunately they do not exist in the Named Expressions dialog in MicroStation. They are only available in the pick list in Print Organizer. You cannot reorder or delete them. To force Print Organizer to use your named expression for the print
output file names of all new print sets you create, you can define the configuration variable MS_PLT_DEFAULT_OUTPUT_FILENAME_EXPRESSION to be the name of your expression.

For example, MS_PLT_DEFAULT_OUTPUT_FILENAME_EXPRESSION = PrintFileName Date-Design
